The journey of bringing this work (Le Voyage) to the Internet was begun in Paris, France...first, in artist Paul Harmon's Boulevard Saint Michel studio and then at restaurant La Foux in the Latin Quarter. It was there that Michael Zibart of Book Page proposed this major art project for the Internet. A very warm "merci" to Michael Zibart for the invitation as well as for his vision.

Preface

Like the fly's eye with its prismatic view of the world's warehouse of shape and color and motion. With the advantage of TWA and many more seasons.

Form and energy. But a jigsaw puzzle of influences that are distilled and polarized into a singular vision.

The artist embraces a broad world, alert to the smallest details. Therein lies the strength of his work and its future.

The table is an ambiance in which birth and death announcements compete. On the tables, pastures flourish while paint grows old on old villages. And the bittersweet aspirations of work and romance breathe. The sun shines on new clouds and people and ideas.

Paul Harmon is in the picture with a special curiosity, some little magic of the fly's eye and a very rare ability to talk about it on a flat surface.
